Bonprix –
Fyling Garments

In this project for Bonprix, we supported the spring campaign with appealing CGI visualisations.
The results were shown on video walls in several German cities.

This form of visual product presentation allows viewers not only to see the products, but to literally feel them. The garments are presented so realistically in terms of their movement and texture that the audience can establish a deep connection with them – all without having to physically touch them.

The added value of such productions is clear: CGI enables flexible, cost-efficient and visually appealing product staging that is independent of the limitations of traditional photography and video production. This innovative technology offers brands the opportunity to make their products more lively and appealing, which ultimately leads to stronger customer loyalty and a higher recognition value.

As this project aroused a lot of interest, we were asked to create a background video for internal communication as well as for social media.

We decided to do the simulation in Marvelous Designer because it is perfect for such a task.
To have the best control in Marvelous, we recreated the imported model with an inbuild function. This recreates a geometry based on the UV that has a more suitable topology for the simulation. Since each sewing pattern is a perfect UV, we had the best data available.
To achieve the desired look, we animated an avatar in Blender to drive the simulation in Marvelous.
The rendering also took place in Blender, as this is our main tool.
