In a photo shoot every variant costs again: sample, studio, setup, retouching. With us the 3D model is built once. Every further color, material or configuration is just one more rendering.
For a handful of images, photography is cheaper. Beyond a certain number of variants, CGI wins clearly, and the images remain identically reproducible years later.

bonprix: a shoe collection, rendered automatically.
For bonprix we built a rendering pipeline that automatically generates consistent product images from the 3D data of the shoe collection: same materials, same light, same composition. So the series does not feel mechanical, the pipeline varies the placement of the shoes slightly. The result: large image volumes without manual rework, consistent and still alive.

What clients ask us beforehand.
From how many variants is CGI worth it?
As a rule of thumb: from about ten variants of a product, CGI is cheaper than photography, with several angles even earlier. The larger the series, the clearer the advantage. We calculate it precisely for your range.
What does semi- or fully automated mean?
Semi-automated: our pipeline generates the variants, a person checks every stage. Fully automated: the images are created from your variant list without manual intervention, for example for regular range updates. Which path fits depends on product and requirements.
How do we get the images into our system?
We name the files after your scheme (SKU, color code, angle) and deliver in the formats your shop, PIM or configurator expects. Via API on request.
What happens with new colors or materials?
You send us the new material as a sample or data sheet. We set it up in the model and re-render all affected images. No shoot, usually within a few days.
Do the images stay consistent over the years?
Yes. Light, camera and environment are stored in the project. An image you reorder in three years looks like the one from today.
