Digital twin

Even without CAD data.

We rebuilt this bench from photos and the dimensions in the online shop alone. The digital twin now delivers web 3D, AR, cutouts and living room scenes. Material changes and animations are possible at any time.

With CAD data it is faster and more precise. But a good photo and a tape measure are enough for us to get started.

Optimization for the web

We reduce the model to a few megabytes without it showing: geometry, textures, materials. Formats GLB for Android and desktop, USDZ for iPhone.

What clients ask us beforehand.

Does this work in our shop system?

Yes. The 3D viewer is a small code snippet that fits any website: Shopify, WooCommerce, Shopware, Magento, Typo3 or your own system. If you cannot embed anything, we deliver a link you can link to or print as a QR code.

Do our customers need an app?

No. 3D runs in every current browser. AR uses the built-in functions of iPhone (Quick Look) and Android (Scene Viewer), also without an app.

Which file formats do we get?

GLB (glTF) for web and Android, USDZ for Apple devices. On request also the source model in common 3D formats.

How big are the files?

We optimize every model for the web, typically down to a few megabytes. It loads in seconds, also on mobile, and still looks like the product images.

Are the dimensions in AR correct?

Yes. The model stands in the room at its real size. That is exactly what AR is for: does it fit, before you order?

What does a web 3D model cost?

If we make your product images, the model already exists. Then web 3D only costs the optimization and setup. Without an existing model we calculate per product. Send us an example and we quote a fixed price.
